About us
The Think Tank of the Missionaries of Africa on African Traditional Religion promotes the Society's charism
for dialogue, study, reflection and engagements with African ways of relating to the spiritual world.
This site provides a bibliographical reference list of works published by members of the Society.
Any member can update and enhance it.
Members of the Society of Missionaries of Africa have automated access to the members section
from which they can upload or edit papers and books (or references thereof)
to this site and participate in its maintenance.
Access to the members' section is provided through official mafrome.org email addresses.
Members without a mafrome.org email can gain access through their personal email address,
as long as they register it with the administration of this website (write to: admin@mafr-atr.org) or to any member of the Think Tank.
Members can at any time edit or delete their own bibliographical submissions and accompanying PDF or WORD documents.
Non-members can request changes through the administration.
Members who hold the copyright to their work can, apart from providing the bibliographical references,
also upload their publication in form of a PDF or WORD document (or any other format) to this site.
By default, your work will only be available internally (only accessible for members).
If you want to make it available also to the general public through this site,
save it to the your cloud (Google Drive, One Drive, Dropbox, etc) and provide your public link, which will be included in the bibliographical details.
Members who do not hold the copyright of their work can supply a public link
to the website of the publisher who holds the copyright.
If the publisher agrees (many do!), they can also make their work accessible for internal usage
(restricted to the members' area).
Note that access to the members' area follows standard security protocols that are available on request. So is the number of members.
Presently, the site is run from Lumimba Parish, Chipata Diocese, Zambia, where Internet access is not always available.
